R&O Service Highlights and Achievements

R&O Design Services has achieved high standards for all critical areas of specialty retail development and profitable operations.  Highlights of critical service areas and clients include:

Store Openings:  30 shops including 14 golf shops, 2 temporary golf shops, *11 individual tournament PGA/LPGA/EPGA/SR. PGA temporary shops, 2 Fitness/Tennis/Spa shops and 1 resort shop.

• Orchestrated and guided the programs and execution of the merchandising fixture/store layout, product flow and department allocation, product sourcing, staff training and visual display. Properties and shops include (note that tournament shops are listed within the Retail Special Event Development section):

Visual Display Re-Sets:  26 shops including 14 4-5 Star Resort/Hotel stores and 12 Resort/Private Club shops.

• Created and implemented shop visual display and re-set programs including staff training for resort/hotel, golf, spa/fitness specialty shops to create efficiencies, improve visual display and increase sales performance.  Properties and shops include:

Retail Operations/Business Modeling:  28 shops including golf and resort.

• Includes Operational development and business modeling that aligns the physical shop design with retail operations in financial analysis/reporting, retail budgets, sourcing, buying programs, visual display/merchandising requirements, staff training and systems/Point-of-Sale installation for retail mechanism.
• Orchestrated Point-of-Sale Conversions and Systems Configurations/Installations for retail requirements in the back of the house and front terminals using such systems as CSG, Jonas and Crescent systems to include inventory configuration, financial and retail reports requirements, end-of-month reconciliation/audit trails, front screen configuration and gift card capabilities.  Properties and shops include:

Retail Special Event Operation Development:  11 Temporary Shops.

• Sourcing, buy plan development, staffing, shop set up (11 shop set ups) and structure requirements, Point-of-Sale and cash/credit set up, visual display, financial reporting.
• Created and managed program for Tour Special Event merchandising totaling $1.4 million for the Senior/CHAMPIONS TOUR event, The Tradition (1997-2002), LPGA Safeway Challenge (2003-2004), PGA Scottish Open (2001-2002) per event, Shell’s Wide World of Golf (2001) and Senior Slam (2002).
